Our Terms & Conditions 2017 / 2018


1) Appointments & Catering Consultation

Initial consultations regarding our services to you & written quotations are offered without charge.

Subsequent meetings at your chosen venue or for home appointments will be charged at £25.00 per hour. 

All bookings are subject to a site survey if required after a deposit has been paid.

On acceptance of menu & written quote a signed copy of both the written quote and our terms & conditions must be returned us along with the relevant deposit of 50% to secure your booking.

If we have not received your confirmation and booking contract within 7 days of the date of our quotation we will have to release your booking and your date may no longer be available and prices quoted may be subject to change. 

2) Our Payment Terms

50% of total quotation is required to confirm the booking of our services. 25% Non refundable.
25% due 12 weeks before event date.
25% Final balance due 7 days before function date.

If you book & confirm within the timescales above the relevant payment terms apply.

Payment can be made by cheque with appropriate guarantee card or online bank transfer.


The final guaranteed number of guests must be confirmed 14 days before your event, we will then send you out a final invoice for the balance, less the 75% already paid.


ALL SERVED FUNCTION ARE SUBJECT TO V.A.T @ 20 %


3) Drinks on served functions only

We do not charge corkage on serving your own drinks.
We supply bar staff to serve your own drinks if required, please enquire.

 

4) Hire Equipment

Hire of Crockery, cutlery, glasses and linen etc. unless stated on our menus can be arranged by us for you through our designated Hire company, but will be charged direct to you.


Any item that is provided or on hire for the function, that is lost or broken by the client or their guests will be charged for at the full replacement cost.

The client must confirm their order with us and adhere to our terms & conditions.
Bookings are only confirmed once a deposit of 50% is paid.


5) Cancellation & Number of Guests Policy.

Cancellations must be made in writing.
Charges below.

More than 6 months Loss of £500 flat fee

Between 4 - 6 months 25% of quoted price

Between 2 - 4 months 50% of quoted price

Between 1 - 2 Months 75% of quoted price

Less than 1 Month 100% of quoted price



If estimated number of guests reduce more than 10% before the function 95% of the total guests numbers will be charged for.

We also price individually for an event based on guest numbers.

We have this policy in place to secure your booking and reserve the date specifically for you, and we therefore may refuse other events.

Allergy Advice and Liability

We can accommodate your guests that have allergies towards certain foods. We strive to ensure that all items sent from our kitchen do not have cross contamination with any noted allergies a guest may have.


Nut Allergies:

Although we are not an official ‘Nut Free Kitchen’, we do not carry ‘Peanuts’ in our kitchen at all. We cannot guarantee the absence of cross contamination with other nuts, but do our best to ensure every order is sent out to the specifications and requirements of the allergies presented.


Liability

We will not be held liable for any adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items an individual may come in contact with, at any event catered by us.


We do not accept any liability for non-completion of the event or for delays resulting from adverse weather conditions, traffic accident or road closure, civil riots or strikes affecting the trade, fire, flood or other natural disaster, acts of terrorism, or for any other event, which is beyond our reasonable control.

This agreement shall be governed by English law and subject to the sole jurisdiction of the English courts.
